About

Allen’s Place was founded in June of 2011.  We are a 501(c)3 corporation as of August 2011.  We offer therapeutic riding programs for children with special needs or terminal illnesses and their families.  It is our goal to restore hope and help others achieve the highest level of independence possible.  We believe that animals have the ability to reach many children that may not respond to traditional therapies.  We use equines and canines in our Animal Assisted Therapy programs.  Private and group sessions are available for children of all abilities as well as trail rides

Our executive director lost his son, Allen to rhabdomyosarcoma in December of 2010. We have a strong desire to reach out to both cancer victims and their families.  Our program coordinator is the adoptive mother of four special needs children with multiple diagnosis.  They both bring personal experience to the table allows them to empathize with families and work with each and everyone to develop the best plan to meet each clients needs. Our goal is to ease the pain of not only children with terminal illnesses and special needs but also their families. We strive to provide opportunities for them to enjoy themselves in a fun and relaxing setting.  It is our desire to support them as they walk through the most difficult journey one will ever take.

Allen’s Place at Diamond “B” Farms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope to families that have been affected by terminal illness or disabilities.  We firmly believe that animals can make a huge difference in the lives of children and their families.  It is our desire to serve everyone that has an interest in equine assisted therapy.  In order to do so, we rely heavily on donations and support from our community.  In addition to therapeutic riding, we offer trail riding, support groups, private and group lessons for all abilities, summer camps, and other special events such as weddings, family reunions and birthday parties.  Please contact us if you are interested in our services or to make a donation.  All our fees go to support our programs.
